Things I'm
proud of: Being one of the group of people who worked to bring nuclear
power to a halt, in Springfield, Oregon, early 80s, and succeeded. My
reasons: the apocalyptic dangers of nuclear energy. My part: going
door-to-door every night for a few years in Springfield and towns up and
down the Willamette Valley educating people about the dangers of nuclear
and the financial scandal of the WPPPS
plants. How it was done: Enough grass roots pressure was brought to
bear. The organization I worked for, Oregon Fair Share, discovered
Springfield law that stipulated that its citizens could not be
indebted/taxed over a certain % without a vote of the people; there had
been no vote; the costs overruns of WPPS would have led to indebtedness
of approx. $8,000 per household throughout the Northwest - just to
"mothball" the plants. This led to a lawsuit. Current US Congressmen Representative
Peter deFazio became involved and helped in the lawsuit, which
was taken on, pro bono, by an attorney, whose name I've forgotten. We
won, creating the largest bond default in U.S. history. Other
municipalities followed suit. Nuclear power was shown up to be the
financial gravy train for investors and the financial ripoff
for consumers that it is. No applications to build a plant were
filed after that.
Other things
I'm proud of: all of my writings; any way I've helped clients in
therapy; any way I've helped students when I taught at the university;
my websites and blogs, the fact that I was a hippie and a young radical
and antiwar activist in the Sixties; the fact that I lived during the
incredible Sixties and got to experience and get bitten by the idealism
and global visionary bug, which I hold fast, to the this day; and the
fact that I was the perfect age to understand and experience it -
in my late teens and early twenties; the fact that I had the sense and
courage to do thorough primal therapy in Denver during the years
1975-1980; my wife, Mary Lynn, my brothers and sisters, my nieces
and nephews, in particular, still growing up Timothy; and especially my
Godchildren, JoAnn, Tyler, and still growing up, eleven year old, smart,
athletic, and amazingly for her age, sensitive and loving, Elizabeth.
I'm also
proud of my ability to be silly as hell without caring, to be madcap, to
make people laugh, to be rational, to wake people up, to be comedic, to
be able to write more wisely than I have any realization of
knowing, to notice the person left out in a group and to include that
person, to care about the suffering of people I don't know, as well as
those I do, and to feel their pain, to care about the plight of our
planetmates, the other beings on this planet who don't have to resort to
rarely effective language in order to communicate, to be able to
forgive, to be tolerant, to be non-judgmental about what people do that
doesn't effect others, and to be able to be on any person's level - from
child to working stiff to university prof to corporate cog - and to
hear, understand, and share with them in their language.
The most fun
I've had: playing with nephew and Goddaughter, Elizabeth, and
being in their world and playing with them and sharing with them my
ability to make up wild outlandish fantasies of reality that we'd laugh
and play around with, at the same time giving them the support, love,
role model, advice, and acceptance of the adult I am; also the
"work" I did with the developmentally delayed and emotionally
disturbed, where I found that they had more ability to share in laughter
and to be funny and clever, and to be loving, than most
"normal" people - child or adult.
Another
thing I'm proud of: Learning through the work above that everyone, no
matter their level of intelligence or their emotional problems, are
beautiful sparks of divinity with bits of genius, and certainly unique
wonderful qualities, that make them delightful to be with.
My main
mission in life: Searching for truth in world of Lies, Liars; wanting to
help as we kill the planet, all of us, all our children, grandchildren,
and all the planetmates, all the beings, of which God made millions of
species, who have lived and had a home on this planet until only lately,
the planet-killing half-borns, the species, Homo Sapiens, evolved, to
their extreme detriment.

MY
GREATEST DISCOVERY
The
Experiential Psychotherapies, especially primal therapy, have
proven that our entire personality, even what is called
"human nature" are formed by experiences occurring much
earlier in life than Freud ever imagined. They
create the basis for our attitudes, philosophy, our spiritual
beliefs, and our core personality.
These experiences go back even before
conception to experiences of the sperm and egg; and the earlier
the experience, the more powerful its effect in forming the adult
personality.
Some of these experiences are inevitably
traumatic, but they can be healed.
For one who does this, benefits accrue
which others have no way of comprehending, but they are
invaluable, powerful, priceless, and make possible human
potentials we are still discovering and exploring.
A new consciousness, a new society, a new
world is possible
through particular, specific, and highly unusual and unique
methods -- which, ironically, are the most natural, simple, and
obvious (for those whose trauma is no longer causing them to
overcomplicate everything); but also, which methods are known,
quite unfortunately, by very few therapists, even among those who
call themselves primal therapists.

BLAH-BLAH-BLAH THAT THE LEFT BRAIN WANTS FOR CREDS
MICHAEL DERZAK ADZEMA
(aka
Mickel Adzema) is a free-lance scholar and writer who has written for a variety of
international and regional magazines and journals. He has been published
in a number of fields, with articles in The Journal of Humanistic Psychology,
The Journal of Psychohistory, Pre- and Perinatal Psychology Journal, The
Anthropology of Consciousness, Aesthema: The Journal of the International
Primal Association, The Inner Door: The Publication of the Association
for Holotropic Breathwork International, and Primal
Renaissance: The Journal of Primal Psychology. He also writes
for the popular/lay public in magazines that have ranged from The Rose
Garden and Spirit of Change (with a number of articles in each)
to Let's Live and Bestways magazines, and many others.
He has published three books on this site -- Falls
From Grace: Spiritual and Philosophical Perspectives of Prenatal and Primal
Experience, Apocalpyse,
Or New Age? The Emerging Perinatal Unconscious and Primal
Renaissance: The Emerging Millennial Return
(they are each available here, free of charge, in their entirety). He specializes in writing about psychology
and spirituality; but has written extensively on their interrelation with
topics such as the environment, consciousness, politics, health and nutrition,
and metaphysics, as well as psychohistory.
Most recently, SillyMickel has
expanded into multimedia forms of expression, combining the
written word with sound, music, video, images, and the spoken
word, but all for the same purpose of expressing points and
educating on important subjects and issues, but hopefully in a
more attractive and entertaining way that seeks to engage more of
the receiver's senses and faculties; and, along with humor, more
of the receiver's emotions. He is nearing completion on several
multimedia productions, which will have the depth and breadth of a
book, but which may be presented in a way that is interactive with
possible parallel and alternating modes of reception, and always,
some simultaneous modes of reception that are congruent in aiding
focus as opposed to dispersing it. His projects are many, but he
considers his most important ones to be the ones that have to do
with the secret rapidly approaching apocalypse and the secretive
response it is receiving, the roots of both -- Doomsday and its
Cover-Up -- in political and economic hijinks and grave misdeeds,
the relationship of all of this to to consciousness and
psychological dynamics that are particularly primally understood,
the forgotten others on this planet besides Homo Ego Maximus
Erectus, primal reasons why people choose the horrible and
violence and cannot accept happiness, and spiritual aspects of all
of this, with metaphysical threads weaving it all together. You'll
just have to keep watching this website; and there will be
electronic productions that can be purchased for those who wish
that also.
Mickel is also a primal facilitator, but his full-time
occupation is with communication and education in the ways
described above. He is assisted in all his work by his wife, Mary Lynn,
who has a background -- educationally, experientially,
spiritually, and idealistically -- in terms of social action --
similar to Mickel's though not as intense or deep. She is his main
sounding board and feedback and channels insights at perfect
times, which often serve to expand the vision and breadth of the
end products. When this was written, they were both living in
Northern California. Though by the time many people will read this
it is hard to say where they are. Most accurate would probably be:
mental abode: cyberspace; emotional abode: unity with all
consciousness human and nonhuman; physical abode: closest would be
one like the wind has.
He has received university education at a number
of universities, including Franklin and Marshall College, East Stroudsbug
State University, King's College, University of Colorado at Denver, University
of California at San Diego, World's University in Ojai, California, and
Sonoma State University; and he has studied and been enrolled in the fields
of humanistic psychology, anthropology -- focusing on psychological anthropology,
philosophy, religious studies, transpersonal psychology, and economics.
He holds a Master's degree in "Spiritual Aspects of Prenatal Re-Experience,"
which he received from Sonoma State University in Rohnert Park, California.
At the same university, both as a student and afterwards, he was a university
instructor, each semester teaching a course in Pre- and Perinatal Psychology
-- in fact, he has been cited by the Association for Pre- and Perinatal
Psychology and Health (APPPAH), in their newsletter, as being the first
person in the United States to teach a course in Pre- and Perinatal Psychology
at the university level.
For twelve years, Mickel has been the webmaster and editor of this site, Primal
Spirit: Powerful Catalysts for Fundamental Growth of Self, Society, and Planet, The Deeper Wave of the New Age, and
within the last year he has expanded his internet presence to include the sites
listed on the left, most of which are his original creations, in which he serves
as webmaster. Of this recent proliferation and expansion, the best thing that
can be said is "Thank God for Barack Obama and the good people of America,
now a majority, who changed history, consciousness, global prospects, and in no
small way, the life course of Mickel and Mary Lynn Adzema

For decades I couldn't even hear football on the TV without feeling
a
depressing ache inside. With Primal, even this joy could
come back. There's
no one to hate, for God loves us in all ways; even ones we cannot know,
or that hurt at the time.
